Using the tiniest bit of magic to help hold up one light is about all Calvin has done so far, but he has been good about getting up and going through his morning training, and he did save some people from a burning building awhile back. Maybe he hasn't done much today, but this can count as a delayed reward for actual work he's done.

The comment about coffee gets a short laugh out of him.

"It becomes habit. I drank..."

He pauses as he considers carefully, trying to do the mental math for it.

"Maybe three cups a day? Back home... Less here, but..."

He shrugs. He is technically putting in less hours of work in this world too.
