She's pleased to see him again, glad that he's returning unhurt and that the woman he holds is still alive. Her eyes move to the creaking beam above him. Mary holds her jewel and sends what she hopes is an extra layer of protection to surround Henry. Sure enough, when the beam breaks and the house starts to cave in, the wood and flames slide away from Henry and the woman like a drop of water off glass.
"We ought to get her to the castle," Mary says once Henry is next to her. That is where they are trying to corral the wounded and sick in order to make sure that they are cared for. "How may I help you?"
